Family—Above All Else

Mother’s day came and went, so in a belated effort to commemorate mothers I found old magazine images; at a time when women’s domain was the home—where she was portrayed as a happy homemaker and kids baked with Mommy.

    Nostalgic. I was lucky my Mum stayed at home. One of the big social problems of today is that both parents have to work. Well in most cases.
    Bit where would we be today without an HD Tv. in each room and 3 or 4 cars parked out on the road ‘cos the garage is full of junk.

    Absolutely since materialism is so prevalent; unfortunately it makes for a lot of people who don’t know how to save, mend, keep, and worse of all–invent or create!
